Isn’t it interesting how some seasons you are just in a groove and the patterns of life repeat, while other seasons are marked by change and a flurry of unusual activity? It is amusing to reflect on what I was doing a year ago. Early 2022 was spent getting our house ready to sell, which, by God’s grace, we did on the first day it was listed. Then in May we closed and rented back for a couple of weeks while we focused on getting rid of stuff. The rest we moved to storage. We celebrated our middle son’s high school graduation, watched his baseball team win the state title, and were completely moved out of our lovely Lookout Mountain home on June 1st. I have a picture of my sweet middle son in his Georgia Bulldogs t-shirt standing in the empty house. The two of us were the last to leave.
